Note: The riotous colors and unusual shapes of the landsnails, as well as their extreme variability, have long made them popular with collectors, and in recent years they have been making a bit of a come-back, as people have begun to realize that the ocean is NOT the only place to find interesting molluscs! I heartily recommend them to all and sundry, without reservation (and I'm not just saying that because I am a dealer, either!!) |
